Scale Of Survival V0.4


Lots of news : 
First of all, I saw that many people couldn't open the game or the game crashed after the shaders compilation. This issue is now fixed : you can now choose whether to compile the shaders, and the game will launch with the lowest quality settings by default.
 You can change the quality in the settings menu.
Other features added : 
- you can headpat the character in main menu
- optimisation 
- better combat system 
- bug fixing with the xp particles
- the leaderboard now has a "local" settings which displays only players from your country so you will have a higher chance to have your name on the leaderboard

The vrm import feature and butt slam attacks are currently available in the patreon  build version of the game (link : https://www.patreon.com/c/Themisto3D )

personally, would love to see tinies are food game mode. (although I know it's not possible)

Shame - it seems to be running worse on my potato now. Tried cmd trick as well. I loaded normal and endless up - and the enemy is moving and firing. But in both cases, I got no actions from keyboard or mouse input and had to close.  Still excited to see some updates. I'll watch for the next one. Keep it up!

When you say it runs worse, does it also happens on the main menu or only when you play one of the game mode ? The input bug is weird since I don't have it. Did you try going to the settings menu and bind keys ?

Menu is no longer dropping frames - Menu seems working fine.  That is working better on my rig.
Game mode Endless and Normal(save the cat) were tested - While endless does no have enemies to start - normal does. In normal - enemies were moving, firing and otherwise interacting with the player model. 
In both cases of loading the game modes - Music plays.
In both instances; WASD or any keyboard/mouse input had no effect. No change to the game state. Nothing happened.  Had to close the program to exit.
Settings are at low - cant go lower. (Again - I'm on a potato)
Resetting bind keys had no change - reverting back to default had no change. 
Loading via CMD didn't change anything. Tried windowed, smaller resolution, different Direct X builds - no change. 

Everything but the actually game play is working :/

Previous edition struggled on my rig - unless I was launching via CMD.  But even with the issues, the previous edition did run all game modes on my system.

Thanks for your comment. I'm actually learning optimisation right now and just learned why the game can be pretty laggy for older computer (it's a memory issue). Hopefully I can optimise it as much as I can and release a newer version (basically the same as this one but much more optimised)

Also what about headpat or car tossing game mode ? Can you play these or again the game doesn t detect any input ?
